Wyse Z90D7 model screen flickering

We recently deployed a series of z90 d7 model thin clients into our environment. After being on for a while the monitor will begin to flicker and cut off on the top and sides. This is a new problem that we just started to see with our recent batch of thin clients.

Is there a solution to fixing this problem, is it a known issue? perhaps dell changed their hardware in more recent iterations of this thin client?

any help is appreciated thanks. unfortunately i do not have a photo that i can post at this time as current photos we have contain patient info.

Originally we only saw this issue occur on a new deploy. Everything was brand new. They were deployed on an enovate mobile cart, Dell widescreen monitor. Dell keyboard and mouse, the standard issue ones that come packaged with the Dell Wyse z90 d7 thin clients. Initially they utilized a vga cable with a dvi converter, we thought at first it might be the cable/converters so we changed them with dvi-d cables and still saw the issue. We again tried swapping the dvi-d cables with regular dvi, they don't utilize a strip of pins, I forget which type of dvi that is. Anyway, I later found one in a different area of the hospital that was experiencing the same problem, this was on our standard configuration, non wide screen Dell monitor and a dvi cable. I had never seen the issue appear on our standard config which is why I thought maybe the issue was somehow in the monitor. At this point in pretty sure the issue lies with some piece of integrated hardware in the thin client, the issue goes away temporarily with a reboot.

Deantech,

Would you happen to know if these are new or old or new monitors?

What brand are they?

What interface are the monitors using (vga, dvi, hdmi, dp)?

Are you using any adapters?

What is the resolution set to?

Do you have other TC that are working with these monitors?
