Thin client crash
Hello,
We have T10 Dell Wyse thin clients connecting by RDP to Windows Server 2008 Virtual Machines.
At random moments in time we experienced the bellow crash on some of them.
The .ini setting we are using are the following:
WNOS settings:
signon=0
AutoLoad=1
maxvncd=5
vncpassword=ThinCli3nt encrypt=no
vncprompt=0 accept=5
TimeZone='GMT + 02:00' ManualOverride=yes daylight=yes start=030506 end=100506
TimeServer=172.16.1.41,172.16.1.42 TimeFormat="24-hour format" DateFormat=dd/mm/yyyy
EnableLocal=yes
include=$ip.ini
$ip.ini settings of one of the thin clients(all of them have similar configuration)
connect=rdp \
description="Default RPD" \
host=URLeng001X120.manufacturing.urlati \
icon=default
domainname=manufacturing \
Fullscreen=yes \
Reconnect=yes \
Autoconnect=yes \
privilege=high lockdown=yes
Exit=all
Is this related to some configuration settings or is it firmware related?
How can we make sure this will not happen again?
Thank you,
Coman Alexandru

Coman,
This is called a "Trap Error" in ThinOS world. The only solution is to upgrade the firmware on the thin client. If you need more details on what the message screen is telling you, please contact technical support, otherwise, your easiest choice is to upgrade the firmware.

We had the same issue (upgraded to 8.3 still had the issue)
adding the below line to the wnos.ini solved it (single line)
SESSIONCONFIG=ALL UNMAPCLIPBOARD=YES
