"Panic: watchdog" error message

I got a message from operations techs regarding an error message on their zero client screen.  It read:  Panic: watchdog" then gave a time/date stamp, and at the bottom it read:  "Setup free page map completed"  "Coredump:  total RAM 1662MB, compressed to 22MB in 8 seconds."  "(Press and hold power button to restart)"

Can someone tell me what generates this message and what I need to do to correct it?

Thanks for your help!

You need to upgrade the firmware on your thin/zero client. You may want to contact support if you need more information on what the Panic Error means, but to upgrade the firmware, you will need to have Software Maintenance.

I know this post is a little old, but we're having the same issue here with the Wyse 5060 ThinOS terminals.

We're running ThinOS version 8.4 already, is there a certain version we need?

I see in the page fault below you are running 8.6_412.  That is the latest build for the 3030LT.

I would suggest opening a support case, and providing them the crash dump file to review why you are seeing that.
