Dell Wyse 5050 Zero client facory default restore or UNLOCK password
I have purchased a WYSE5050 N01A as second hand for testing purpose of ongoing solution, and seems it has some LOCK password activated. I just need to change some settings in configuration, but I am unable to do that due activated LOCK on the device. I am not able to RESET to factory settings too, due to the same LOCK which was activated...I believe finding the default unlock password is no way for me, as the password for this has been changed I guess, so the only option is to put the device to FACTORY settings, which is not possible from the menu....Anybody can help how to put it to factory default settings with some shortcuts or saome other way , other than from menu?...I dont have any other official USB key or anything, so please some easy and convenient way.

With the 5050, which is a Teradici Tera2 based device the only way to reset the password for the device if it is unknown is to contact Dell support.

HI, thanks, I was affraid of such solution .... (serial/service numbers from the device to contact tech.support by chat seems not to work according to dell website checker tool, which is frustrating, and the only solution is to call and hold on the helpline?....all kind of devices I have seen always had a hard reset option available for the user to activate when needed.
