Wyse USB Firmware Tool
Wyse USB Firmware Tool
I have problem with creating image using Wyse USB Tool v. 1.20.0.1, i'm using a new Cruzer Glide 32gb
USB devices , the problem is , my windows 7 pc sees the usb device as a local disk drive instead of a removable devices. the Wyse USB Tool only push the USB key on a USB removable device . i don't know if my statement sound clear or not but anybody can add comment

Yes, I'm pretty sure I understand exactly what you're saying. I have the same problem. From what I can find, it seems the Wyse USB Firmware tool does not support USB 3.0 devices. You need to get a USB 2.0 thumb drive to do your imaging with.

It's not a matter of usb 2.0 or 3.0. Newer Sandisk usb sticks are now hard coded to report themselves as non-removable drives.
Sandisk - Flash Drive shows as Hard Disk Drive (Fixed Disk) in Windows Explorer. kb.sandisk.com/.../fixed%20disk
The USB Firmware Tool (USBFWT) will only respond to removable drives so as not to accidentally reformat your C:\ drive or other fixed disk. So far Sandisk is the only vendor that I know of that is doing this.
I'm using a mix of Lexar, Kingston, and other generic sticks that are usb 2.0/3.0. The USBFWT User Guide, posted at the bottom of the download page, is a fantastic way to see which usb keys have been successfully tested.
