xps 8940 - no update for windows 11 a year and counting?
This machine has been a disaster from the beginning. Super slow processing, super high usage of disc space, memory, CPU at various times. The thing is constantly freezes and hangs up. Dell support no help. I was hoping upgrading to Windows 11 might help, but the update never comes? Anyone have any information about why this update is not getting pushed??

MS has been pushing the update out in stages and some users may not see it until later this year. But no need to be worried, you can download either the media creation tool now or use the Installation Assistant (which is the same as the update) with both available here.

XPS 8940 has been a great machine for me.
Did you buy it with an SSD or regular mechanical hard drive ??
