XPS 8930, can't activate after Windows 10 reinstall

I tried to do a clean install of Windows 10 as I've done dozens of times before. I use Windows Media Creator. At some point during the installation I noticed a slight hick-up I never noticed before. Everythng else finished normally and I started installing all my apps.  I noticed that Windows was not activated. No hardware changes. Been working on this all day and can't get anywhere. Is there really anything I can do other than buy a new key?

Thanks

I just got off the phone with M$. They helped me get it activated. It was so easy.

Sign into your Microsoft account and that should activate the clean install...

I tried signing into my MS account. That didn't do it. Still can't activiate. Did the MS troubleshooter and help. That was an endless circle. I kept ending up back at the troubleshooter popup. I think, somehow, my MS account got messed up, because it kept asking me to change my password.

Try to fix the problem quickly with two steps below:

1. Press the FN key (Function key) while powering on the system.

2. Still holding the FN key, start tapping the Windows key to bypass the issue. This should bring up the login screen.

If the problem is not solved with above steps, there are other three solutions for Dell boot loop fix. You can pick one that fits your situation:

Solution 1: perform a hard reset
Solution 2: clean boot troubleshooting
Solution 3: reset the operating system
