Thanks for the information. I renamed the hosts to hosts.old. didn't see any new hosts file created so far. The good news is,
I can log into my system very fast!
I can enter safe mode now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks a lot!
Will update my status on virus board!

You can rename the file to hosts.old and Windows will recreate a clean copy at the next reboot. But do stay in the thread you have on the virus board, rather than a new thread here.
