Windows XP on my Daughters Dell 4600C

I have a regular Dell Dimension and my daughter has a 4600c (mine is just a 4600 regular).

I was wondering, I just wiped my hard drive and did a clean XP install on my computer and it was so nice would like to do it to hers too.

Can I use my CD's or must I find her own for her own computer?    Her computer was not purchased directly through Dell but is a Dell.     I can't find a service tag on it but can find the genuine XP tag pasted to the outside of her machine and her machine is definetely a dell :)

I just want to wipe her HD and reinstall windows xp, so can I use my own set or need to figure out where her own is?

Thank you .

Technically the Dell provided Windows XP CD is ONLY for the system it was delivered with.

However, I've seen posts that as long as it's a Dell and the exact same version of Windows XP it may work.

Ok, I guess I can try it, also, I just realized i have 2 copies of everything in my CD book so perhaps one of them is for hers. We bought these 3 years ago so my memory on it all is a little rusty!!

I can't think of any reason why Id have duplicates other than one must be for hers.

Thanks again though, this helps just in case its not.
