Windows 11 latitude 5550 usb-a port not working.
Whenever we get a Latitude 5550 from Dell and image it, one of the usb-a ports fail to function after the image. Even if we run all the updates on dell command update, and try windows updates it doesn't work. The only thing that fixes it is restoring it to it's original out of the box state. I have no clue what could be causing it to just die. I have even gone as far as to manually rip the drivers from a working one for our MECM environment, and after the image it still kills one of the usb ports until it's restored.
In device manager, it shows one of the USB ports as not able to start with the "intel (R) USB 3.20 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.20 (microsoft)" Driver. When we uninstall and restart the machine it pulls a "USB xHCI Compliant Host Controller" driver with the same error. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
