Win10 Reinstallation Failure
Inspiron 7348 2-in-1
Inspiron 7348 2-in-1, about a 10-year old laptop with Win10. Trying to clean install Win10 Home. Using Dell's online OS Recovery tool. "Windows Update KB5025885 Prevents Reinstallation of Windows" should not be an issue as I created ISO image after updates. ISO image sems to have been created OK on clean 16GB USB drive.
Followed Dell's instructions on a Word document linked to imaging process. Instructions only follow reality to a certain point. Under UEFI boot, I did select the USB drive. Language & Keyboard OK. Now instructions diverge from reality. Next, "Use a device: EFI USB Device (SanDisk Ultra)." Repeat, choose language & keyboard.
Next, "Choose an option:" First time I tried "Use a device: USB Drive , network or DVD." That circled me back to Language & Keyboard (I think) and back to "Choose an option: Troubleshoot: Reset PC or advanced options."
Next, "System Image Recovery: Choose OS: Win10." Next, a window opens, "Re-image your PC: Select the location of the backup." From there, there are many options. I'm lost. See some of the screenshots, below. Thanks.
