Wifi Speed Issue
I recently updated a Dell Latitude E4300 laptop to Windows 10, 64 bits, 512 GB SSD, and 8 GB RAM. Everything works well except my Wifi speed. It connects well, but the speed is .5 MBits/s whereas my newer Dell is connecting at 60 MBits/s. I suspect an outdated driver. I connected the laptop directly to the modem and it hums away at 60 MBit/s. Suggestions? Thoughts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check to see whether Smartbyte is installed and/or enabled. If so uninstall it and disable it in the Startup tab of Task Manager.

It might be because of an outdated router or a less-than-ideal router location. You might be able to solve slow speeds with an easy fix, like upgrading to a mesh network (which also has to be set up in the right spot) or simply restarting your modem and router.

Update your router firmware and also you can change that channel. This will boost your speed may be.
