Use of long recovery drive

Hi Team

I have a large 308 GB file in E Drive

It looks like recovery file. Am not sure why is it so big in size.

So, what is the purpose of this file?

Is it necessary?

Can I delete it?

Currently have no plan of system reinstallation. PC is working fine so, does not look hardware issue as of now.
