Printing Small

Hi all - thanks in advance for any direction.  Everything I print from this laptop to my Brother PC prints on a half page.  I will get the full image, text, etc. that I am trying to print, but it does not fill a full 8.5 x11 page, no matter what settings I change.  It literally looks like a setting is being used to print an invitation or something, where if you folded the printed page exactly in half, you'd have a card.  Whether a spreadsheet, document, photo, pdf or webpage, everything prints the same.  Every other device we own prints perfectly to the printer.  Thoughts?  Thank you!
