PC does not recognize Dell Pro Stereo Headset UC150 microphone

Hi Everyone,

First of all,  apologies because I didn't find any section of the forum dedicated to headsets/audio/microphones, but it still fits here since it is a software problem.

After the last Win10 update, my work laptop stopped recognizing my Dell Pro Stereo Headset UC150's microphone. I have had this headset for some years, and I love them, they work very well and I never had any problems. Suddenly, Windows doesn't recognize the microphone, although the audio (headphones) still works as always, the audio comes out perfectly as usual. The headset microphone doesn't appear anywhere... The volume controls on the cable still work, but the "mute" and "call" don't do anything: they light up as usual, but nothing changes on my calls in Teams. This is logical since Teams (as well as Windows) only lets me choose the integrated laptop microphones.

This headset has no proper drivers, so nothing to do there, but they always worked perfectly. I have tried installing optional updates, restarting the laptop several times, and plugging the headset into different USB ports... Windows still doesn't recognize the microphone part of the headset.

Any thoughts or ideas? I love this headset, it's in good shape, and I would love to keep using it...Thanks a lot beforehand for your help!
