My dell app updating issue
Inspiron 5402/5409
Hi (already sorry if there are any English words spelled wrong, its not my main language). So i have a problem with the "My Dell" app it wont start cause I have to update it. I have been searching the dell community solves for a while but it doesnt work. It all surgested that I had to delete the fusion service and reinstall it from the dell site.
So I first tried it with the fusion service I had which is version 2.1.31.0
It didn't work so I deleted my fuision service and downloaded the latest version on the dell site, which was also the recommended version voor my computer, and tried that version out.
It latest version was 2.0.58.0 which is a downgrade from the version I used before.
It still gave Update available so I tried the update button.
After it said it was installing i recieved the update screen again and my fusion service had been updated back to version 2.1.31.0 and the "My Dell" app still didn't work. I even tried on my dad his computer he has the same laptop just an inch bigger and he has the same problem.
I have no idea how to fix it and would like to get rid of it.
My windows is up-to-date and the versions of other dell programs are in the print screen below.

Exactly same propblem on my Dell Inspiron 16 Plus.
Very Annoying, that the Fusion auto updates itself to 2.1.31.0 after installing 2.0.58.0.
Not even a full year in use but buying this notebook was a huge mistake. Touchpad problems, overheating and fan noise and now this. I can't charge it to 100% anymore without My Dell after setting the limit to 65%.

Same problem here and I'm sure dell must be aware of this.
Was just on a long call that tried to find issues in my system and tried to manually install the fusion service multiple time which didn't work. Then the person started to encrypt my files without telling me it will take the whole day basically...then they want to reset the bios and maybe system but why should I do all of this if this is possibly a problem with dell not with my computer / system?
Super annoying
