Monitor
purchased a S2719H Dell monitor, connected to a MS Surface Pro W10 with MS docking station. the monitor audio produces occasional static when run via the docking station (HDMI mini display to HDTV cable, nothing else. deleted the driver, restarted the Surface with the monitor directly into the Surface and the audio worked fine. Is there a fix to get the monitor audio working via the MS docking station. cannot find a solution via the boards cheers

thank you for responding, your message gave me the motivation to do a little more digging and found if I updated my docking station with the latest firmware, completed and reinstalled the audio driver and then restarted the surface the audio now working through the docking station, perfect. thanks

It would appear to be a problem with the MS Docking station, since it works OK direct. If there was a problem with the monitor it would not work correctly direct either.
