m16 R1, shortcuts on desktop appear in add remove programs

I use Brave and Chrome browser's. Recently went through add remove programs and saw tv shows I put on desktop as a shortcut are appearing in add remove programs. This gets quite annoying when watching a series, send the current show watching to desktop, later find it in add remove programs after deleting off desktop. Is there a way to prevent Windows 11 from doing this? T
