The E5470 has a 6th gen CPU and according to the Microsoft specs will not be officially supported by Windows 11. And since MS does not consider it supported hardware Dell will not be supplying Windows 11 drivers. But that does not mean you cannot install Windows 11 on your system. Windows Report has a page here explaining how to install it on unsupported hardware. And Microsoft has even posted instructions as to the procedure for installing on unsupported hardware. I have Windows 11 installed on my E5430 and it runs fine and I am getting all the updates.
Now keep in mind that one day, and no one seems to know when or even if, MS has stated that they will drop support on those unsupported systems. Also since the E5470 is not supported by Dell for Windows 11, if you have a problem with your system and require Dell tech support, they will insist that you install Windows 10 before they offer assistance.
Officially no since it has a 6th Gen CPU. Also Dell does not offer Windows 11 drivers for the E5470. But my previous post holds true for the E5470 as well.
recently i install windows 11 in my dell latitude e5470 and works fine even i install his original drivers and update windows 11 into win 11 22h2 performance is really good here is the proof
@sooyaaa__ Since I wrote my previous reply there have been a number of YouTube videos explaining the procedure for unsupported hardware. I have Windows 11 on a system with a 4th Gen CPU and it runs fine. The point was that officially Windows 11 is not supported but the workarounds exist. Now when Windows 12 comes out next year that may all change.
@Abhi1231 yes you can use 5470 with windows 11 but with tpm 2.0 without windows 11 crush and my 5470+tpm2.0 work very fine now even i play heavy games here the proof
@777bust You can download the media creation tool from MS here. And if your hardware is not compatible then this YouTube video describes the installation process.
