Inspiron 5770, enable TPM 2.0, Windows 11
Inspiron 5770
Hi,
Do need help with enabling TPM 2.0. Tried to enable it through BIOS but shows Compatible TPM cannot be found at TPM Management even at PC Health Check. Do need to enable TPM 2.0 to be able to reinstall Windows 11.
Thanks

The CPU supports Intel PTT -- which is a built-in TPM workalike. To enable it, be sure the system is running in UEFI mode (not CSM or Legacy, which does not support Intel PTT). If there's an existing copy of Windows, you will need to do a clean install of Windows 11 after you enable UEFI and PTT mode.
Note: if the system was originally sold in a part of the world where TPM funcationality is illegal (China, Russia, parts of the Middle East), the system won't have PTT support.
