Inspiron 15 3520, Audible audio keeps going even after computer goes to sleep?

I listen to audible through the browser. When I close the browser, however, the audio is still running in the background. It's not audible (ha!), but when I open the lid of my computer and login, the audio is there at the very bottom of the login screen. It's messing everything up! In order to wake up the computer, I now MUST hit ctrl-alt-delete or it just beeps at me. How do I get rid of this audio? I tried turning bluetooth off thinking it might think I'm still connected, but that didn't work.

Close the Audible Application or Browser Tab
If using a browser: Completely close the browser tab or window where Audible is playing.
If using the desktop app: Properly close the Audible desktop application.

Disable Background App Settings in Your Browser
Go into your browser's settings.
Find the system or advanced settings.
Look for an option like "Continue running background apps when Chrome is closed" (the name varies by browser) and disable it. This prevents media from staying active in the background. Check and Update Audio Drivers
Right-click the Start button to open the menu.
Select Device Manager.
Expand the Sound, video and game controllers category.
Right-click on your audio driver and select Update driver.
Follow the on-screen prompts to search for and install any available updates.
