Image Quality

The image quality of images in Internet Explorer is sometimes perfect, and othertimes, attrocious. The images are sometimes pixalated beyond belief, and sometimes crisp. I have no idea how to fix this problem, as I never had this problem on my other computers.

You can either set the DPI to the default (Normal - 96) or remove IE6's UseHR registry key to deactivite image resizing.

Right-click the Windows desktop, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. The Display Properties dialog box opens.
Click the Settings tab, and then click the Advanced button.
On the General tab, DPI settings appear in a list in the Display area. To change the DPI setting, select a size from the DPI setting drop-down list under Display, and then click OK.
Restart your computer to allow the changes to take effect.

Add the UseHR registry entry:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Right Click in the right pane and select New | DWORD value and set its data
to 00000001
