i9-14900K system freezes and browser/WordPress lag — any fixes?
Hi everyone, I’m running a desktop with an Intel Core i9-14900K and I’m seeing persistent instability whenever I try to use my website (including the WordPress admin/backend). When I open the site or work in the WP dashboard the browser tabs will suddenly freeze or become unresponsive, page actions take forever to complete, the system stutters and sometimes the whole desktop seems to hang for 30–90 seconds before recovering; I’ve also seen dramatic drops in responsiveness (huge input lag, pages timing out) and occasional app crashes. I’ve already gone through the usual troubleshooting — BIOS and Windows updates, chipset and GPU driver updates, cleared browser caches, tested multiple browsers, disabled extensions, checked for malware, reset BIOS settings to defaults, and installed any available microcode/firmware that Dell or Intel have published — but the problem persists. Has anyone else on an i9-14900K (or other 13th/14th-gen Intel CPU) had this exact behavior when browsing or using WordPress, and if so what concrete fixes actually resolved it (BIOS microcode, specific driver rollback, Windows setting, power/EDP adjustments, etc.)? Appreciate any practical steps or logs people found useful.

Hi
The obvious question is can/does Wordpress run OFFLINE, and if so, what is it's behaviour?
Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.
