Fan running but PC won't start up
Front power button on tower won't light up when connected to mains power source but fan running and back green LED light on. Holding down front power button shuts down unit but then it restarts itself straight away. No signal on connected monitor ("sleep mode")
Please advise what trouble shooting steps to take
The PC was working last night. No known power surges last night or today.

Bad RAM chips, a faulty motherboard and BIOS error can all prevent your computer from starting up. If the problem occurred right after installing a new piece of hardware, remove the newcomer and try booting again. It could be that the new piece doesn't play well with the rest of your system.
