Driver Downloaded to Win XP can't be loaded

I am trying to set up an old monitor, Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2020u, on my Dell computer running Win XP Pro.  I downloaded the driver, extracted it and when I click on it to run, a window opens with pages of info about the contents of the download in dos type with no instructions.  So how do I get the driver to load?  Any help very appreciated.
