Dell XPS 13 9315 webcam not working causing BSOD Windows 11
Hi there, I purchased the dell XPS 13 9315 (Windows 11) at the start of the year and was having a great time using it until last week. Whenever I tried using activating the webcam in the camera app or use facial recognition a white light appears on the webcam and within a short amount of time a BSOD occurs with the stop code PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. I tried disabling the driver for the webcam in the camera tab on device manager, checked for recent updates, uninstalled the driver for the webcam in the camera tab on device manager and a lot more things. Could anyone please assist me on what to do?

Max_Unknown,
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Agree with @YFXPS13 above. Why no easy/published fix on the 9315? Feeling very disillusioned with a not-cheap laptop. Something has clearly been done to render the webcam pointless. Why should owners now pay for support to find out how to fix this. Not sure I'll be buying Dell again.

Having the same issue. I saw the ridiculous back and forth in the 9320 thread (including Dell support telling people they had to replace their screens) before they finally admitted they submitted bad drivers to Windows Update. Would love a fix here. The proposed workarounds for 9320 do not work.

Hola, tengo el mismo problema y DELL no me da solución mas que formatear el equipo, cosa que se ha realizado dos veces y las BSOD vuelven al mes de haber realizado la reinstalacion de WIn 11.
