Dell Optiplex 5080 SFF Windows 11 update - Anyone successful?
So I have a Dell Optiplex 5080 SFF (Small Form Factor) bought in 2021 and from my research it is upgradeable to Windows 11 after I update the BIOS, video drivers, etc. first and according to SupportAssist & PCHealthCheck
I will of course, create a recovery disk/usb just in case.
I wanted to know if anyone has tried doing the upgrade to Windows 11 and if there are any gotchas to be careful of?
I want to document them before actually doing the upgrade...
I guess the roll back is to use the recovery image, correct?

There is only a few dozen of reports in this community and hundreds on other platforms about failed Win 11 upgrade. That translates to over 99% of successful upgrades so far as there are millions of supported systems out there.
It's well thought for your prepare of upgrade plan. Except that the roll back can easily be done using Go Back feature within 10 days of the Win 11 upgrade. The Win 11 24H2 upgrade process creates a Windows.old to store your old Windows and uses it to roll back if requested by users.
Simplify your setup and temporarily remove all external devices to increase the success rate and reconnect them when done. Also, make sure that your C drive has over 50GB of free space for Windows.old creation.

Will all my existing apps such as QuickBooks, OneDrive, Office365, DropBox, and other specialized software remain after my upgrade including configuration and settings, etc?
Thanks
