Hey I need help regarding this laptop I tried activating my windows update and used the product key but it says it's says I must connect to my organisations acc and I don't really know how to do that as this laptop is 2nd hand... actually 3rd so I was wondering if you could help out

Hi
To a certain extent it depends on your access level for software etc.
If you have proof of ownership then maybe a change of ownership could happen.
But as you are sparse on details, I don't know what you actually want.
What OS etc you have.
Whether you can access the BIOS etc.
Whether running Belarc Advisor would answer some of your questions.

@anne_droid proof of ownership I think I can get it but all I want to do is just activate my Windows 10 pro which is updated and I already have a product key...it wants me to connect to an organisation

You are not giving the full picture.
Why not a clean install of W10 pro?
Perhaps the Product Key belongs to an organisation.
