DDPM issues, how to report them to Dell
If you still have DDPM (Dell Display and Peripheral Manager) installed and have issues, follow these steps to report them to Dell =
1. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Service Tag for the Dell monitor and/or Dell computer. Open the Monitor Menu- Others to find this or look on the rear label.
2. Once the Case is started, the agent will ask for more data.
Computer data required =
Computer model?
Operating system installed?
Monitor data required =
Monitor Model?
Did you upgrade from DDM (Dell Display Manager) or did you do a fresh install of DDPM?
Monitor firmware version? Open Menu- Others to find this
Monitor connection to computer, cables used, all ports in use
Peripherals data required =
Peripherals model?
Did you upgrade from DDM or did you do a fresh install of DDPM?
Peripherals firmware version (device and dongle) ?
Using a Dongle or Bluetooth?
3. The GHN agent will guide you on how to collect the DDPM logs.
