Can't adjust screen brightness on e5450
Did a clean install of windows 10 and all of the video drivers (Nvidia and Intel ones too) but I still can't get the screen brightness adjustment working from windows. I can manually set it from the bios! I updated the bios to the latest version.

Download the one ring to rule them all cab file.
https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=728fk
https://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER03230091M/1/E5450_5450-Win10-A00-728FK.CAB
Then move the cab file to the MY documents folder.
then install 7ZIP
https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
then right click on the cab file and extract here using 7zip.
then right click on intel video and say update drivers from my machine instead of the internet.

Thanks it did work!
I did remove the old intel video driver in device manager because it won't start updating from local files elsehow, but it was as simple as you described.
