Can anyone help me update my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11? It shows error code 0xC1900101-0
Hi,
We're facing update Issues from Windows 10 PC to Windows 11 on our staff members computers. Basically we're Clothing Manufacturers Los Angeles and on 5-6 computers we're facing error code 0xC1900101-0. Can anyone guide how it fix this issue?
Thanks in Advance

Just curious, do you have more than one drive in those computers? If so disconnect all drives except the boot drive that you want Windows 11 installed on. If the installation finishes without a problem and the system boots properly, then reconnect the other drives. I have seen a similar problem with Windows 10 installations when more than one drive was installed and connected.

The error code normally has a five digit secondary code which gives more information.
You might check the site below and download and run the setupdiag.exe utility. You can copy and paste the results of the log in the folder created and other files may be needed.

The Microsoft user forum may be of help also.

A quick internet search says it's usually a problem with a driver. Maybe try removing and uninstalling (selecting the option to delete the driver) any installed devices, especially anything the 5-6 systems have in common... or at least making sure the drivers are current. You might also try running the Windows Update troubleshooter.
