blue screen error - e1505 mce2005

core 2 duo processor ati graphics card 256mb 120gb hard disk 1gb ram.... blue screen says: stop :0x000000f4 (0x00000003, 0x8645d020, 0x8645d194, 0x80606586) beginning dump of physical memeory Physical memory dump complete contact ur system administrator otr technical support group for further assistance. How do i go about solving the problem.Please help. thank you,

I think you should run the Dell Diagnostics
 
Turn on the computer. When the DELL logo appears, press immediately.

Thanks for ur reply dunedin, now i have a new problem where my laptop refuses to boot. i dont get even the splash screen , so unable to get into the dell diagnostics or the bios .

Can you get into Safe Mode by pressing F8 while booting up?
 
If so select
Last known good configuration

or
System Restore with Comand Prompt
At the command prompt type
C:\Windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe  (assuming Windows is installed on "C")
Choose a Restore Point a week or so ago
 
Have you got a proper XP installation CD or just a Recovery CD?  I don`t think we can repair this without a full XP CD if the above suggestions don`t work

i am unable to start my laptop. on presssing power on button nothing happens no splash screen so that i could follow one of your instructions by pressing f8 or f12. maybe some loose conact or motherboard problems.
