AIM logoff

When I leave an away message on AIM and leave my computer, after a period of time I am logged off of AIM.  It happens everytime.  It seems to happen when my monitor shuts off.  Does anyone know how to keep this from happening?  I just installed a new hard drive and reloaded all my software.  This didn't used to happen with my old hard drive.

This is likely an internet connection problem. Does the AIM program leave any error message after it logs you off?

No, no error message, but I think I solved the problem.  It had to do with the power scheme on my screen saver.  Thanks
