Adding PCIe Video Card to Precision 3450
Precision 3450 Small Form Factor
I had a spare AMD Radeon™ RX 550 video card that I wanted to install into my system.
Since it's a Small Form Factor desktop, the card will not fit within the cover, but I thought it should still work.
But unfortunately, the system not recognizing my video card.
I tried seeing if there was any place within the BIOS that i can enable the PCIe Slot, because it doesn't seem like it's getting recognized at all, but there isn't a place in the BIOS where i can turn on the Slot.
Any ideas???

In the System Setup Options for display, in the BIOS, there is a setting for primary display which by default is set to auto. Check yours as it may be incorrectly set as you can set it to IGPU instead of your discrete card. That setting is described in the manual here. One other thought is that the RX 550 requires a 400W PSU per AMD and you might have a 300W maximum PSU. But the card only draws 50W so it is hard to believe that could be the source of your problem.
Just wondering since the card is not low profile are you sure it is seated completely in the slot and not grounding against the case or only partially inserted?
