If the system was activated using a Microsoft account, log in there to retrieve the key.  If it was not, the only other source would be a backup you made ahead of time.  If not, there is no way to retrieve the key and the data is lost to encryption forever.

I have the same problem and need to recover my BitLocker key. I’ve checked my Microsoft account but couldn’t find it. Is there any other way to retrieve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Unless you've backed it up on a system or flash drive, no there is not.

I'll check if I have a backup on a USB or another drive. It's really frustrating because I don't want to lose the data. There are some important documents that I need to recover. Hopefully, I can find a copy somewhere. Thanks for the help.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Hi

Windows 10 and Windows 11 installs have the habit of installing and encrypting drives.

No permission is requested and NO BITLOCKER KEY is provided.

IF you did an install without using a MS account, or indeed any connection to any network (Local Account) it is possible to un-encrypt the partition.

If so then perhaps search for ways to use the un-encrypt command as I have.
