unlock your laptop and open task manager.If any of the icons isn't showing press Ctrl+Shift+ESC buttons together. Then you will be open task manager and go to processing apps and end the tasks of all the running apps.
If it doesn't work go to the pc diagnose when power on the pc (mostly F12 key and can be different to the models) and checks the screen condition.
