VxRail compatibility with VMware vSphere
Where can I find if my VxRail E560 and V570 nodes are compatible with VMware vSphere version 8 or now 9?
Its not on the Broadcom Compatibility Guide as far as I can tell. Does DELL have its own compatibility listing?

Hello lfod77,
Here is a link to the support matrix for VxRail 8.x. https://dl.dell.com/content/manual15256967-dell-vxrail-8-x-support-matrix.pdf?language=en-us
There is not a support matrix guide for 9.X at this time.

@DELL-Sam L Thanks for the reply; I feel like I've seen that document you linked to. What I am not understanding is how to read or see where it says a "E560F" is supported on ESXi 8 (vSphere).
I mostly just see references to some version of VxRail Mgr. Can you tell me what page/table shows me the "E560F" is supported on vSphere 8?

Hello lfod77,
If you look on page 9 table 2 Under Supported VxRail Configurations, it states that if your model of VxRail E560F running all flash configuration and your chassis of 10 x 2.5” drive slots that it is compatible with VxRail8.x. If you are looking to see if your drives are supported by manufacture or part# then you can do that from page 131 through 136.

@DELL-Sam L So I think I am getting it; So since the servers/nodes in that supported configurations table indicate supported for VxRail 8.x (latest being 8.0.330) and then following section indicates "VxRail 8.x with ESXi 8.x supported firmware and drivers", the link between those two essentially says the server/nodes in that table are supported on ESXi 8. Guessing that it... Thanks so much for taking the time.
