Web Access 7.5 .pit file issue

I'm testing the web access from my Win7 machine at home had the issue with the .pit file wanting to save prompt. Changing the security settings in IE fixed this, but am I going to have the same issue if we have https and a 3rd party SSL cert installed? (currently I'm accessing the web site via HTTP and not HTTPS)

I like the fact that you can include the download links directly on the web access page, but having to walk users through the security setting change won't be an option for us. We need to make it as simple as possible to access from remote sites.
