vWorkSpace DR Solution !

Hello,

Is it possible to implement vWorkspace across two sites as a DR Solution? We need to have HQ and branch setup and each site had active users related to its own site boundries

Also each site to provide DR for the other one. using Windows Connectors and MS Hypervisor VDI

- The most important point is the "DATA Replication" manual or automated between both farms. for example the users profile storage. I understand that these files are encrypted. will it work if i copied the files to the other farm!! i don't think so

Hi,

Typically across two sites or datacentres we would deploy two vWorkspace Farms.  There are still many different options from here but from your questions it sounds like you are looking for an active / passive solution.  You could use the vWorkspace Web Portal in front of both farms.  You could also define both farms in connectors so users can choose the failover farm in the event of failure.  There are of course further options to provide more automation.  Can you give me some more detail on what connectors you are using at what sort of DR you desire and what sort of intervention level you find acceptable.

Regards

User profile data is not encrypted. The data and registry settings are in zip archives that can be replicated.
