vWorkspace and Novell eDirectory
Hi
Im trying to figure how i could possibly use vworkspace in an eDirectory Environment.
It seems there is no possibility to log in to vworkspace via LDAP or edirectory.
The Admin Guide states nothing about it.
However ist it possible to:
1. use "Deferred Authentication" with AccountLockedPassthruMode. Create a deactivated generic User in the management Domain e.g. vlab-AUser and let users connect through this user without password. after she would gain access to a published desktop and authenticate via Novell DLU?
2. Provide a config.xml with autologon information? Prefill vWorkspace Web Access?
There a two login Options for a Win7 Desktop with Novell Client in a Workgroup:
A: Zenworks Dynamic Local User
B: Autologon a generic local Account and do Novell Login afterwards. Depending on the configuration of Novell Client the Autologon Account may have an empty password which could perhaps work together with 1.) to provide a more seamless experience.
One important thing when using Nwgina to Logon: RDP Server Authentication Levels has to be set to "RDP Security Layer" to provide Login Cababilities via Nwgina.
Does vWorkspace support "RDP Security Layer"?
best regards
Markus
