vWorkspace 8.0.1 Linux Deployment
Hi,
I'm trying to create 20 - 30 CentOS VM in the vWorkspace VDI farm for our CS students to do some learning on CentOS. I'm having trouble finding instructions on how to do this. I found some instructions on the link below for VDE but I'm having trouble configuring the Linux so I can deploy it through vWorkspace connector to our students. For example in the guide below its referring to some vwts prep scripts which I have trouble locating. Any idea if there is how-to on how to properly deploy Linux?
Note: Students do not need the GUI/Desktop experience in CentOS, they are OK with being able to SSH to those VMs.

Hi,
Have you downloaded the 7.7 VDE onto your template machine? You can download from here:
https://support.software.dell.com/download-install-detail/5075773?prodjid=1-7GCB8-423
Within that download is a folder called VDEFORLINUX\Provisioning
Choose the folder for CentOs, "EL", within here will be the vwts script that you need.
What version of CentOS are you trying to deploy? We currently only support 5.9 and 6.4 but 6.5 supoprt will be coming soon.
I hope this helps!
Thanks, Sam

Hey Sam, thanks for answering the thread. I'm thinking about deploying 6.5, but if its not supported yet I'll try 6.4. I'll try your your suggestions and get back to you if I have trouble.
