Verify Remote FX is enabled

Here are 2 ways of confirming RFX is running on server 2012 (this is not related to verifying a physical GPU delivery in your environment only to see UDP traffic relative to RFX/RDP8)…anyone have better way?

First way is to look at the desktop… and look at the logoff options (cant see this on 2012)

the second is RFX because the session isn’t treated like a typical remote desktop session as the actual vm console is being sent.

Another way is to …

Launch Event Viewer in your remote session, and browse to Applications and Service Logs\Microsoft\Windows\RemoteDesktopServices-RdpCoreTS\Admin.

In the Event Viewer, you'll see an event for each time you've logged on. There are two different messages that use the same EventID (2). One tells you that "Remote Desktop Protocol will use RemoteFX module to connect," and the other says that it will use "RDP Graphics module."
