unable to read from or write to database in vWorkspace 7.2
hello,
In the journey to evaulate new revolutionary vWorkspace 7.2 i an again stuch with another error which is attached along this post as an attachment.
The error says "Unable to read from or write to Database" , this is error come while i try to access either the Web Portal of App Portal. I am also not able to do RDP to the Web Server. while i tried to connect to Database , it is connecting and expand the tables.
Please let me know what has made it act so strange.

hello Mark,
I found the same checked under Farm Properties but still i could not get things working. still neither i am able to login via web portal nor via app portal.

I have hit this with the 7.1version. Right click the farm name and select the properties. There is an option to use the database cache. Uncheck this option and you will probably find things start working.

Hello Laurens,
Mark is correct above, the usual cause for this error is having Database Caching turned on.
Right click the farm name and select the properties. There is an option to use the database cache. Uncheck this option and you will probably find things start working.
If they don't start working, you need to check the size of your DB, that it has room to grow (Within the SQL settings and the physical disk) and that it is currently online.

Ah, couldnt find the properties but YES - thanks!
(why have the caching feature then? is it on the bug list?)

I don't have access right now so I don't know if they'll fix it, replace it or remove it!

I could republlish the applications and it started working, I republished Remote Desktop and Terminal services and it works smoothly now
