SSL Gateway yes or no

Hi, I am having a heated debate about why the SSL Gateway should be used.  We are replacing Citrix and that can only be accessed using a VPN client so one of the attraction for vWorkspace is that it can be accessed without the need for a VPN Client.  The argument is that we dont need a SSL gateway as the ISA firewall can do what the SSL gateway can.

Any one got some good evidence why we should or should not use the SSL gateway

Thanks in advance

I don't believe ISA will do what Secure Gateway does. With ISA (Forefront TMG) you will need to use a L2TP VPN.

umm...I hope that is not your ONLY reason for getting rid of Citrx..because you were doing it wrong.  Citrix has a free SSL Gateway product called Citrix Secure Gateway which proxies ICA traffic over SSL...you've never needed a VPN to run citrix...at least not in the last 5 years anyhow...
