Hello Mohit,
are you trying to publish an application hosted on a Terminal Server to a VDI machine ? Or an application from a VDI machine to your Windows desktop ?

Mohit,
this is not a problem at all, but you would need to install the vWorkspace Connector to every virtual desktop from whom you want to use the published application from the TS/RDSH. In such a scenario you need to handle the virtual desktop like it would be your local maschine from that you want to have access to the published TS application.
If you do this i would recommend to connect to the virtual desktop itself WITHOUT the vWorkspace Connector: This is because if you would already use the vWorkspace Connector to connect to the virtual desktop and then using the vWorkspace Connector on the virtual desktop again your logged on user would need TWO vWorkspace concurrent user licenses.
Also using SSO (single sign on), using the AppPortal in desktop integrated mode as well as autologon to the vWorkspace farm makes sense.
If you go more into details by telling me your goal and why do you wish to connect from the virtual desktop to the published applications from the TS then i may be able to recommend more or telling you another way to serve the technical needs of your end users.
Thanks,
Holger

Holger, while the license usage in the vWorkspace Management console does reflect double license usage if running AppPortal or Web Access from inside of a virtual desktop, or terminal server session (where the connection to the environment was initiated via vWorkspace), we do not want to discourage customers from operating in this manner. If a customer is using vWorkspace in this manner, and that is causing them to run out of concurrent usage licenses, so long as it is this usage that is draining the available licenses, the Quest Account Manager should be able to arrange for the customer to be allocated additional licenses to cover this scenario.
It is not uncommon for customers to run AppPortal in /DI (Desktop Integrated) Mode to access Terminal Server applications from their virtual desktops. A common scenario for this is to access IE6 from a Windows 7 Virtual Desktop.

Patrick, thanks a lot for this update! This is good to know because we discussed this with the PNI Account Manager in detail during 2007 for two customer environments and ended up without any solution.
