pnshell delayed when restoring default printer

When a test user logs on to the published desktop (vWorkspace v7.5), the pnshell.log shows quite a large delay. The user has no network printer mappings, just the local printers mapped with the universal driver. The log shows a delay when restoring the default printer. Why should this take so long?
