Password reset portal "Could not find domain controller for this domain"

I'm trying to set up the password reset option on vWorkspace 7.5

Installed the password reset service, the port I used is opened in the firewall and I can telnet the port from both the client and wel as from the Quest web access server.

When trying to change the password I receive "Could not find domain controller for this domain"

I ran into this KB (allthough for 7.2), https://support.quest.com/SolutionDetail.aspx?id=SOL81313 however, I cannot change the domain property in the password mamagement section of the properties of my web site in the vWorkspace console. So the domain listed there is in the format domain.local

The certificate I use matches the domainname (it's a wildcard certificate).

I enabled logging on the password service, however that only records the following rules:

- 28736 - Https started.
- 28736 - Response for HTTP:13,Could not find domain controller for this domain.
