Outlook 2010 Configuration keeps appearing for Terminal Server users
Environment:
Server 2008 R2 x64
Employees connect via HP Thinclient hardware and through Quest vWorkSpace client 7.2
Anyways, the issue seems to be intermittent, users log in one day, everything is fine, their profile is transmitted from the Quest Broker, they start Outlook up no problem, then any day of the week at random, I'll receive a call where they complain they are being prompted to configure their Outlook 2010 client, as if they never have before. This happens off and on, sometimes we have good weeks where it hardly happens, sometimes we have weeks where it happens more frequently.
I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this or has any real idea of why this is happening. Thanks!

Hi,
Do you receive errors when clicking with the right mouse button on the outlook icon in the notification bar while holding the Ctrl key, and then choosing 'Test automatic email configuration'? Are the machine's the users logon to proper member of the domain?
It seems that there is going something wrong with the autodiscovery through ad.

Please look in the Application Event Log on the Terminal Server for the event source pnmpts. This should give some details about the profile data loading or not, for that user's SID.
