No Log off for a disconnected session

Is there a reason for not having the Log off option for a disconnected session in the Managment console? It's there for active sessions and the native MS tsadmin tool has the log off option.

Nobody? Am I the only one seeing this or is it a dumb question?

Hello Kerry,

You are correct, there is not an option available to 'Log Off' a disconnected user session. We usually recommend people use the AD group policy options for managing idle and disconnected session behaviour. Using these policy options you can ensure that any idle or disconnected sessions are logged of after a set period of time.

If you wish to see a Log Off' option in the vWorkspace Console I can see why this is not present and request that we have it as a feature request for a future release.

Kind Regards

David

We do have group policy controlling this behaviour. Please correct me if i'm wrong but a reset will lose any profile changes whereas a logoff will force close the apps and then log off thus changes in the profile are saved.
