MokaFive & Bare metal performance

Guys,

trialling MokaFive and have run into some performance problems when running VM's on Baremetal.

The issues are:

  • Poor video playback with both video and audio jumping and losing sync, cpu isn't over the top.
  • Internet explorer doesn’t render properly with colours inverted and distorted text (All other apps seem ok).
  • Initial screen doesn’t capture the mouse cursor for logon.

I've run the same VM running in creator and none of the above issues are evident, the hardware with the devices is exactly the same and performance is great.

Tried upping the memory and have tried 3D on & off... Any ideas??

Support device logs area attched but the machines are HP 6200SFF/Core i3/4G Ram

See screen shot below...

Thanks,

Hi Peter,

I see that you are saying that you have run the same image on the Creator PC without any issues. When testing the image you should always use the option to Enter Testmode on the Creator. When using Testmode the LivePC is configured to run in the same way as it would on a client computer, with the MokaFive Player.

If you are running the LivePC in the Creator without using Testmode then it runs without some of the MokaFive components, such as layering. This could be why you are seeing different results when running on the same hardware.

Regards

David
